US claims control of Strait of Hormuz; Iran pushes back

CENTCOM chief Brad Cooper said the US helped transport 100 million barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz in seven days, blocked $25 billion in Iranian oil exports, and imposed devastating costs on Iran's IRGC. Iran rejected the claims, saying its new defense strategies forced US warships 500km from its coastline.
