Reacting to murder of Tripura student Anjel Chakma in Dehradun, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “Such incidents are not isolated against people of northeast India." "His death is deeply hurting...society should come together against such incidents. We must come together and stop discrimination,” Rijiju further said. Chakma was stabbed by five to six men after he objected to racial slur.
