JJP leader and former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala lost in Haryana Assembly poll from Uchana Kalan seat and was in fifth position. Chautala lost with a margin of 41,018 votes, as BJP candidate Devender Chatar Bhuj Attri won from the seat with a margin of just 32 votes against Congress candidate Brijendra Singh. Two independent candidates were ahead of Chautala.
