Late PM Nehru told Queen Elizabeth India will always be on side of Russia: Ex-UK PM Boris

Former UK PM Boris Johnson said that once he told Queen Elizabeth that it was difficult to persuade India to come down against Russia. The late Queen then recalled a conversation she had with India's 1st PM, Jawahar Lal Nehru, in 1952. "Your Majesty, India will always basically be on the side of Russia," PM Nehru told her, Johnson revealed.
