The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at multiple places in Kolkata, Burdwan, and Habra in connection with its ongoing money laundering investigation into the ration scam case, officials said. The probe revealed that the accused adopted a systematic modus operandi to divert Public Distribution System (PDS) wheat meant for welfare beneficiaries, the officials added.
