Sunil Kumar wins 2nd straight Asiad medal, scripts Greco-Roman history

Indian wrestler Sunil Kumar bagged the bronze medal match in the men's Greco-Roman 87kg event at Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday. The 27-year-old defeated the Philippines' Callum Johnston Roberts 9-0 by technical superiority in just two minutes. He became the first Indian Greco-Roman wrestler to win two Asian Games medals, having previously secured a bronze medal at Asian Games 2022.
