During the rescue operation for a missing fighter jet crew, two US transport planes that were supposed to fly US commandos and airmen to safety got stuck at a base in Iran, New York Times reported. The personnel then reportedly flew out in new planes and blew up the two transport planes rather than have them fall into Iranian hands.
