Centuries-old hindu temple in Iran: the Bandar Abbas Vishnu mandir

Hindus are a minority in Iran; however, there are two Hindu temples in Iran that were built by Indian merchants. One of them is a Vishnu Temple in Bandar Abbas, a city in the Hormozgan province, Iran. The 100-year-old temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, was constructed in 1892, during the reign of Mohammad Hassan Khan Sa'd-ol-Malek, ruler of Bandar Abbas.
