India, France sign new private space sector deals

India and France signed three new space agreements at the International Space Summit in Paris, including contracts worth over €5 million between Safran Space and Dhruva Space for India's 52-satellite surveillance constellation. The deals expand a 50-year partnership beyond government programmes into private-sector technology, manufacturing, and commercial space activities.
