WHO lists ways to reduce risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes

The WHO said that major risk factors that lead to noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) like heart disease, cancer, diabetes and respiratory disease are tobacco, unhealthy diet, harmful use of alcohol, physical inactivity and air pollution. To reduce the risk people should eat healthy, reduce alcohol, be active, stop smoking and reduce exposure to air pollution, the WHO stated.
