Former Brazil footballer Romário criticised Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti following Brazil's defeat to Norway and elimination from the FIFA World Cup 2026. Calling it an "embarrassment", Romário said, "There's no way he can continue...after this fiasco...I'd rip up that contract and tell him to take it to court." Ancelotti signed a contract extension until 2030 earlier this year.
