Neptune's biggest moon entered its orbit 4 bn years ago: Study

A study based on data from James Webb Space Telescope suggested Neptune's largest moon Triton entered the planet's orbit 4 billion years ago captured by its gravity. It added that Triton may have come from Kuiper Belt, a ring-shaped area filled with icy objects at the edge of the solar system. Triton revolves in the opposite direction of Neptune's rotation.
