A Hong Kong court has granted an application by government to ban protest anthem 'Glory to Hong Kong', saying it can be used as "weapon". The song was written in 2019 amid mass pro-democracy protests and was considered an unofficial national anthem, as opposed to China's 'March of the Volunteers'. China took control of Hong Kong from UK in 1997.
