Iran has threatened to destroy oil facilities and other critical infrastructure across Middle East "in an irreversible manner" if US attacks its power plants. "The oil price will remain high for a long time," warned Iran's parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. The warning follows US President Donald Trump's 48-hour ultimatum to Iran to reopen Strait of Hormuz or face strikes.
