Restaurant body asks eateries to use lids, avoid slow cooking dishes amid LPG supply issues

Restaurant body NRAI urged eateries across India to conserve LPG amid gas supply issues, asking them to avoid cooking dishes that require slow cooking techniques or multiple burners. It also urged them to use lids while cooking to retain heat and undertake cooking in batches. Restaurants have also been asked to reduce menu complexity and switch to induction cooking equipment.
