5 Congress MPs were on panel that sought charge on UPI payments, didn't record dissent: Reports

Five Congress MPs, including P Chidambaram, Manish Tewari, Gaurav Gogoi, Kishori Lal and K Gopinath, were on Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance which called for charges on certain business transactions via UPI in August, as per reports. The committee's proceedings do not record dissent from any of them, the reports added. Notably, Congress has criticised the government's decision.
