Former India cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu recalled how Sachin Tendulkar mastered the sweep shot after being dismissed by Sanath Jayasuriya in a Test match. He noted Tendulkar later called up 10 spinners and started practicing sweep shot at 7 am to rectify his weakness. Sidhu added that once, at dinner, Tendulkar was seen imitating sweep shot with fork.
