The first-ever FIFA World Cup final took place between Uruguay and Argentina in Uruguay's capital Montevideo on 30 July 1930. Uruguay, who were trailing 2-1 at halftime, made a comeback to defeat Argentina 4-2 in the final. Uruguay manager Alberto Suppici, who was 31 then, still holds the record for being youngest coach of a FIFA World Cup winning team.
