UPI may touch 240 billion transactions in FY26 compared with 185 billion in FY25, showing a growth rate of nearly 30% year-on-year, Moneycontrol reported. UPI crossed 800 million daily transactions for the first time in March, NPCI data shows. The average daily UPI transactions in FY26 stood at 657 million, compared to 506 million in FY25 as per NPCI data.
