How are nominations and Wills different?

A Will is a legal declaration of a person's wishes regarding their property after death. While a nomination tells a financial institution who can initially receive an asset, a Will tells the family who the person wants to inherit it, according to Moneycontrol. Nominations therefore enable a quicker and less complicated transfer of assets, it added.
