Morocco became the first team in FIFA World Cup history to field starting XI made up entirely of players born outside the country. Morocco fielded the all-foreign born XI against Brazil in their FIFA World Cup 2026 opener. Four of them were born in France, three in Spain, two in Belgium, while one each was born in Canada and Netherlands.
