Ujjain Mayor removed from BJP chief's campaign vehicle; he announces protest

During BJP chief Nitin Nabin's roadshow in Ujjain, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal was asked to get off the campaign vehicle. Tatwal said, "Insulting Ujjain's first citizen is an insult...to the entire city." He announced a silent protest in front of Dr BR Ambedkar's statue on September 20, saying he would seek strength to endure the "insult" despite repeated instances of disregard.
