OpenAI and its subsidiary Statsig will pay $3.2 million to settle US government claims that they discriminated against American job applicants while favouring foreign workers on temporary visas. The Justice Department alleged they discouraged US applicants by requiring paper applications, airing late-night radio job ads, and not listing openings on external websites.
