Indian stock market opens in green, snaps 7-day losing streak
Indian stock exchanges opened higher on Thursday after seven consecutive sessions of decline. The Nifty gained over 100 points to open at 24,225.45, while the Sensex gained over 500 points to open at 77,468.45. All sectoral indices gained in early trade. The rally was driven by a rebound across Asian equities and easing US bond yields.
