At least 25 countries have implemented the 'right to disconnect,' the ability for employees to ignore work-related communications after hours. After France adopt the law first in 2017, nations across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and parts of Africa also joined the suit. In India, Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule introduced the Right to Disconnect Bill, 2025 on December 6.
