Over 1,10,000 acres of land burned in wildfires across Greece's Attica region from July 31 to August 4 amid a heat wave, National Observatory of Athens figures showed. The data revealed that 55% of the total affected area burned during the nighttime as the fire swept through Attica. 12,37,645 acres have burned across Europe since the start of the year.
