The Washington Post has appointed Jeff D'Onofrio as the acting CEO and publisher after CEO Will Lewis' departure. D'Onofrio, who has been serving as CFO of the news publication since June last year, previously led Tumblr for over eight years. The executive changes at The Post come days after the outlet laid off over 300 journalists and staff.
