Bulgarian PM Kiril Petkov has said that retired persons who get inoculated against COVID-19 will be eligible to receive a cash reward from the government. All retired Bulgarians will receive 75 levs ($43.40) in addition to their pension over the next six months when they get vaccinated. At 27%, Bulgaria has the lowest vaccination rate in the EU.
