LPU suspends classes for 10 days amid violent protests, postpones mid-term exams

Punjab's Lovely Professional University has postponed mid-term examinations until further notice to ensure safety of students amid violent protests over alleged rape-suicide case. It also suspended regular classes for 10 days starting September 28. "Students may...in consultation with...parents/guardians, travel to their hometowns during this 10-day period, if they wish to do so," LPU said.
