Rahul told Khera to target CM Himanta before Assam polls, gave RS seat as prize: Rijiju

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju claimed Rahul Gandhi asked Congress leader Pawan Khera to make "false allegations" against Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and his wife Riniki before April elections. "When the falsehood backfired, Khera was given Rajya Sabha seat as a prize he doesn't deserve," Rijiju said. Khera had alleged that Riniki held multiple foreign passports and undisclosed overseas assets.
