BJP MLA Anupama Jaiswal suffered minor burn injuries while torching the effigy of Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav during a protest in the Bahraich district. She was rushed to a hospital as a precaution and is stable currently. The protest was called after the Opposition defeated the Bill linked to fast-track women's reservation in the Lok Sabha.
