Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday declared a three-day ceasefire in Ukraine between May 8 and 10. Amid tensions with Pakistan, India has signed a ₹63,000 crore deal to buy 26 Rafale-M fighter jets from France. The agreement includes 22 single-seater Rafale-M jets and four twin-seater trainers, with deliveries starting in a few years and expected to be completed by 2031. Security forces located Pahalgam attackers at least four times in different spots over the past five days and came very close to cornering them in forests of south Kashmir, The Indian Express reported quoting sources. On one such occasion, Indian forces even exchanged fire with the terrorists, the reports said. "We are sure we will get them," an official said.
