Elderly couple found dead in Kolkata home

An elderly couple — aged 67 and 60 — was found dead in their Panchasayar home in Kolkata on Sunday. The man was found hanging; his wife lay on the bed nearby. Police found a handwritten note and ₹1 lakh for funeral expenses. The couple reportedly suffered depression after their only son died two decades ago.
