The Israel Ministry of Defence has placed orders worth about $200 million (₹1,881 crore) for advanced airborne munitions from Elbit Systems, the company said. Elbit said it is "proud of our longstanding partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defence". The ministry said the deal aims to boost "independence in armaments" and readiness for "immediate combat scenarios," according to Haaretz.
