Videos circulating on social media showed Pune covered in white hail after unseasonal rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms on Monday. Neighbourhoods such as Aundh, Baner, Mhalunge and Balewadi bore the major brunt of this sudden weather shift. Meanwhile, IMD has forecast light rain with thunderstorm on March 31 and issued a yellow alert for rain till April 2 in the city.
