Haryana pollution board fines HSVP officer ₹50,000 for dumping garbage

The Haryana State Pollution Control Board has imposed a ₹50,000 environmental compensation on the HSVP Estate Officer in Rewari for repeated solid waste dumping on vacant plots near the mini-secretariat. Acting on a resident's complaint, inspectors confirmed the violation on October 28. The officer must pay within seven days or face action under NGT orders and Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.
