Reddit has introduced a new "human verification" step for accounts suspected of being bots to curb the rising problem of automated accounts. It added that verification process would take place only if something indicates that an account isn't human. Notably, the platform will use third-party tools like passkeys from Apple and Google to verify if an account is human.
