Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said there is no space for a new public sector defence company. "We have these large numbers of new companies formed by the corporatisation of the OFBs (Ordinance Factory Board) and of course, we have the older companies," Singh said. "Some round of consolidation rather than a new company is perhaps more relevant,” Singh added.
