Veteran all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been axed from Australia's central contract list. Maxwell had announced his retirement from ODI cricket last year to focus on T20I cricket. Australia have given annual contracts to as many as 21 players, including Test newcomers Brendan Doggett and Jake Weatherald. Fast bowler Jhye Richardson has also been excluded from the list.
