Three Spanish tourists and three Afghan nationals were reportedly killed by gunmen in Afghanistan's Bamyan province on Friday, authorities have confirmed. Several others were also injured in the attack. Notably, Bamyan is home to a UNESCO World Heritage site and the remains of two Buddha statues which were blown up by the Taliban in 2001.
