Water in Machli Talab of Smriti Van in a park of Vasant Kunj in South Delhi has been contaminated with chemicals, sewage water, and human excreta. The quality has turned so bad that even fish cannot survive. The contaminated water has turned "black," and is now unfit for supporting any aquatic life.
