Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav withdrew a draft provision that sought to make candidates with more than two children ineligible for government jobs. Draft provision was based on the existing rule introduced by the General Administration Department in 2001. Under the provision, individuals with more than two children born on or after January 26, 2001, were barred from government employment.
