Apple revamps ATT system after EU antitrust probe

Apple will modify its App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system after antitrust investigations by European regulators who found it favored Apple over third-party apps. Changes include alternative consent screens, less intimidating language, and re-prompting options — but only for apps in Germany, France, Italy, Poland, and Romania. Apple's own apps remain exempt from consent screens.
