Nine days before launching a joint attack with Israel on Iran, the White House wrote on X, "There is nothing more important than peace." Iran launched missiles towards Israel and strikes on US military bases in six countries in retaliation for the attack. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also been killed in the US-Israel joint attack.
