Where should diyas be lit in a house on Dhanteras?

Lighting a diya with appropriate oil or ghee and placing it in right spot on evening of Dhanteras helps remove Vastu defects and negative energy from home, ABP Live reported. Yama Deepak, most prominent diya, should be lit outside main gate on southern side. Another diya should be placed in front of the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber.
