A woman from Rewa, MP alleged that doctors at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital left a surgical needle in her abdomen during her first delivery. This went undetected for two years and was discovered during her second childbirth, causing injuries to the newborn, her family alleged. While the baby is on ventilator, the woman is reported to be in stable health.
