A Steam Controller charging puck nearly caught fire after coming into contact with a smartwatch's metallic strap, according to a Reddit post. The watch was reportedly charging when its metal band touched the puck's exposed pogo pins, causing sparks and overheating. Valve Corporation, the maker of the Steam Controller, has reportedly contacted the user and is investigating the incident.
