The 'Divyang Kaushal Yojana' announced in the Union Budget 2026 will provide "industry-relevant and customised training" to specially abled people so that they can work in IT, AVGC, hospitality and food and beverage sectors. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that this scheme "will ensure dignified livelihood opportunities" for the specially abled people in these industries.
