US House blocks release of sexual misconduct reports involving US Congress members
short by Jayant Singh / on Thursday, 5 March, 2026
The US House of Representatives on Wednesday blocked the release of sexual misconduct and harassment reports involving US Congress members. The House voted 357-65 to refer the resolution to the House Ethics Committee, a procedure that generally means that a bill doesn't move forward. If passed, it would've required the release of all sexual harassment investigation-related reports within 60 days.
