Russian authorities on Sunday said the country reported 1,97,949 new daily COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, down from 2,03,766 from the day before. As per Russia's Federal Response Centre, 706 new deaths were also recorded taking the total death toll to over 3.4 lakh. Meanwhile, capital Moscow reported 12,496 new COVID-19 cases and 86 deaths.
